COLOR BLINDNESS: DEUTeRaNOpia
ACCESSIBILITY & inclusivility
Deuteranopia is a type of color blindness that primarily affects the perception of green and red colors. People with deuteranopia have difficulty distinguishing between these colors. Deuteranopia is the most common type of color blindness, so a significant portion of those with color vision deficiencies may have this specific condition.
We use symbols and text for important information that could be misunderstood, such as Checkpoint obelisk, universal radiation symbols, etc.
Color
Most of the faded colors have been deliberately chosen to give the game an old-fashioned, cartoonish art style that perfectly complements the theme of a corrupted and decayed world.
The muted hues and washed-out tones create an eerie and desolate atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia while also emphasizing the bleakness of the game's setting.
We also wanted to incorporate a range of violet and green tones into the art style of the UI. This color palette helps to emphasize the fantastical elements of the game's world, while also highlighting the corruption and decay that has taken hold.

SKETCHES
After deriving inspiration from the moodboard, I proceeded to sketch the main characters, which can be seen in the sketches below, in order to develop a distinct vision for their vectorization. These sketches serve as the foundation for illustrating the characters. However, when exporting them into Unity for the purpose of efficiency in the actual game, slight modifications will be made to the line art.

OVERVIEW
Sketis World is an action RPG game. User research has been made to stablishe the base of the project and so the format. Mobile game is been increasingly during the last years ... here for further info about the research.
Story
In the age when the world was sustained by the divine power of the gods, mortals knew a time of peace and harmony. All creation began in the hands of Mozabel, the creator, and Larabel, the weaver. Necronius, the god of death, offered eternal rest from him to those who had lived their lives with honor and kindness. And Grotten, the lord of time, took care of the maturity and aging of all the creatures that inhabited the earth.
But Grotten, blinded by his ambition and thirsty for power, cast a terrible spell that corrupted the natural cycle of the world, transforming every living thing into a mere mockery of his former self. Evil, decay, and rot spread out of control, consuming everything in its path.
Humans and beasts were affected by this chaos, as were the gods, who lost much of their powers and soon, immortality and their very existence were at risk.
Faced with the threat of total destruction, Necronius and the twins joined forces to create a champion, a unique being who could stand against the might of Grotten the Corruptor. Thus Sketis was born, unique in his kind, incorruptible, and had a peculiar charm that only an undead can have. But, although he was a bit clumsy, he had a big heart and was willing to do anything to save the world.
End:
Sketis became the strangest hero the world had ever seen, and though the gods were a bit confused about how to fit him into their pantheon, they decided to grant him immortality. And so, Sketis, the undead, lived happily ever after, giving cold hugs and causing laughter to all who stood in his way.
